Dear old self,      You probably know by now that this is a really chill class and you really enjoy it. The main thing I would tell you is do NOT procrastinate. I know that its hard but really take the time to find a deeper meaning in the projects and take your time on working on the projects. I have two projects that are my favorite one would be the GIF and the club logo project. I would choose these two because they both gave me a great opportunity to learn something new. For the GIF i learned well how to make a GIF. For the logo i just took more time on it and i could really notice the difference i completely threw away my first idea and got inspired through my mistakes. Anyways thats all I have to say for right now.  From, me now

tax dollars response:

"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period." I think that putting money into art or music program is helping some kids get into what might might be their workforce and is not a wast of tax payers dollars. For some kids art is a way for them to escape reality and can be helpful. Art is also a way for people to express themselves and gives some kids the voice they didn't have. I feel like in general there are not enough classes that actually make me feel prepared to enter the workforce, and a lot of the art classes have either opened up opportunities for people I know or can teach you about how you would get your work out in a market. Overall I believe that tax dollars should be used to fund art programs. Not just because it's a way to make students happy but because it can teach many different lessons that finding the area of a triangle wil...

Two pictures:

1) Describe the mood of the image(s)  What is the expression on the faces of the models?  What is their posture? The first image she looks sad and and stressed and in the second image she looks very dramatic like a model posing for a shoot. 2) Think about technique.  How do you imagine these images were created? Oil paint? Photoshop? It looks like an oil painting but I would say that they used photoshop. I don't know the technique that they used but it looks interesting and i would like to try it. 3) Ask yourself what role color plays in the images(?)  Does it accentuate the mood? In the first one she is wearing blue against a red background. This could resemble many things I think the idea of her wearing blue helps us understand that she is sad. The second one is just warm colors. I feel like warm colors help make the scene more dramatic and this helps that.

unity paragraph :

I used the idea of unity in my image by having all the different items on a film strip. I used images that looked similar to each other and I would used similar colors too. Unity is when things are joined together and in my image all the items come together on the strip showing that they are one.
